Potatoes are vegetables.

They aren’t included in the 5 a day thing because it’s an arbitrary culture-based attempt to get people to eat different types of food and we eat potatoes all the time.

All the iron rich stuff for me, I guess: sprouts, cabbage, broccoli. I just find them not particularly nice to eat without some kind of stuff on them.

Must is a bit much, though. I can eat all of those raw.

I mean it is AFAIK: The stuff included in 5-a-day changes depending on the what vegetables/fruit are least commonly eaten in a given culture.
