Vegetables you MUST put extra things on

Patchoi as it doesn’t seem to have much of a flavour!

I find chilli improves them enormously.

cauliflower, because it tastes of nothing.

apart from the strong cauliflower flavour?

Not a vegetable, but besides that naked jacket potatoes are great.

Must agree with this, using it as a substitute for rice must be a tacit admission that the flavour’s not the strongest.
When grilled or toasted though, delicious with a char.

Potatoes are vegetables.

They aren’t included in the 5 a day thing because it’s an arbitrary culture-based attempt to get people to eat different types of food and we eat potatoes all the time.

Pumpkins I believe!

All the iron rich stuff for me, I guess: sprouts, cabbage, broccoli. I just find them not particularly nice to eat without some kind of stuff on them.

Must is a bit much, though. I can eat all of those raw.
