Cheers Badger, it really is a great sounding record, love the production on it. I may have to message WSR to quench my desire to know what that number squiggle is, haha. It’ll bug me, I know it.
@allisfulloflove, if it makes you feel any better the Discogs seller was overly generous with his Mint rating, plenty of scuffs and a couple of scratches. Needed a good spray and wipe to get his grubby marks off too. Hate it when sellers lie about condition, just be honest.
Joe or Chris replied with a “crikey, no idea” haha then said Dave helped out so I’ve messaged him via the Haress messenger. I bet he doesn’t know either.
Just bought this. Am obsessed by the album, and the original sold out straight away. Another example of the postage (from the US) costing more than the actual record.
Yesterday’s Crash Records purchases. Thirty two quid for the Enslaved vinyl broke my usual self imposed ceiling but at least it’s double vinyl in lovely blue marble. Although Fever Ray is red vinyl £29 is still bloody steep for a single album imo, just as well it’s such a good single album!
Went to my first ever record fair today! This one was very much geared towards the Mojo reader demographic but I still managed to find a couple of things I’ve wanted for a while……
Varied a lot between individual sellers. A couple outright took the piss with stuff costing more than they would at my local indie - eg. new Arctic Monkeys albums for £30 a pop. Most of them were very reasonable though. Paid £12 for the Macca and £18 for R.E.M. , which I’m more than ok with because they’re both out of print and I haven’t seen them in the wild for yonks.
