Got multiple pairs of the same socks for this reason.
Chuck the holey one if I own multiple pairs, chuck them both if I own one pair

Begin to double up with a thin sock underneath, Extending the use of the worn sock by many months.
I see the automatic profanity amendment algorithm on DiS is working well.
I haven’t even got round to darning the hole in the ones I knitted which should be a lot easier than doing on other pairs
