What are you having? Have decided to stop being that person who doesnβt get their vitamins in food and then forgets to take supplements, so Iβve rounded mine up and have-
Vitamin D - (4000 iu because Iβm dark skinned)
Vitamin B12 - at least three quarters of my meals are vegan, the rest are vegetarian
Iron - i am tired
A-Z for people with bad joints - always heard that these arenβt great and get pissed out but it seems good
Silica - for stronger hair
Vitamin c with iodine - on standby for when I have colds
Might just start with the vitamin D and a-z and take it from there
Chewable multivitamin because I am a 5 year old that my wife needs to tempt to be healthy with something that looks like a wine gum and vitamin D because NHS says it might be a good idea.
Its actually quite overwhelming, we need so much and obtaining it from diet requires really considered meal planning. Also just realised vitamin K is not fake, its real, got mixed up with the fake one from the simpsons
Take a daily multivitamin plus additional iron and B12 a few times a week (vegan so pretty necessary). I was turned away from a blood donation for low iron a few weeks ago and felt devvoed, determined for it to never happen again
I think itβs only a good idea if you have actual reason to believe your diet/lifestyle is short on a specific vitamin (eg vitamin D for most people in the UK).
If you take stuff you donβt need, some vitamins can actually shorten your life.
