Yeah, I have come to the realisation that I really don’t know what I’m talking about with all this, so probably best to ignore me 
The ones on the tube need a bit of jazzing up really.
it’s called an Isovox - they’re horrible but they work
not so hard to do a DIY one with a moving box & some decent pillows though 
or even just a heavy curtain thrown over a couple of mic stands - not so handy if you’re inviting folks over for a podcast though
