From the Lumiere Wide format debuting in 1900, to All About My Mother, Eyes Wide Shut and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut in 1999, it’s oft-repeated that the 20th Century was the century for film.
But which of the films released in these years are our favourites? There’s only one way to find out…
THE RULES:
-
Send me a DM including a list of up to 50 feature films. The film at the top will be awarded 50pts, the second from top will get 49pts, and so on.
-
The formatting doesn’t matter, but please make sure your 50 points film is at the top of the list.
-
Narrative feature films only. No documentaries. No concert films.
-
Films must have been released between 1900 and 1999, according to IMDb (any smart arses claiming the year 2000 is part of the 20th century will be killed)
-
If there are multiple versions of the film, please help me out by including the year, i.e. A Star is Born (1976).
-
If it’s a foreign film, please give me the English name.
