It’s therapy day, so you know what that means: Wasabi vegan sushi box and a Gail’s cinnamon bun for lunch, then trying not to sob on the walk home :muscle:

Morning!

It’s grey and miserable here, but I’m taking that as a positive because the rain has washed off the seagull poo that had accumulated on my windscreen.

Rubbish drive to work though - the junction I come off the M25 at had two of the three lanes closed because of multiple accidents this morning, meaning a half hour queue on the slip road.

Hello, checking in from grey and drizzly PO40 here.

Think my brain’s broken. Really need to address that today. Can’t concertrate on work, I’m being really forgetful, and misremembering things. Just great, really. Ugh.

Alright, Teenage Engineering

Used to really enjoy doing those with US lawyer colleagues, because none of them had anything even approaching a moral compass or an ability to apply an ethical decision-making framework to their actions, so the Q&A session was, without fail, an absolute belter of a series of them trying to justify the actions they’d already decided they were doing anyway and mangling the rules to accommodate them, while an increasingly baffled UK trainer struggled to keep it together.

I miss them.

Morning pals,

Got up on time despite restless night :white_check_mark:
Restless night wasn’t fair since I was tired all day, worked out in the evening and was tired at bedtime! :frowning:
Changed into my office wear when I got to work, only to realise the top I had thought was clean had a couple of little stains on so now I have a wet patch on each boob :frowning:

Morning

Grey and drizzly here too.

Absolutely zero plans for the day.

Finally expecting some good news on a pay deal this afternoon, after 2 and half years, so that’s something to look forward to.

My legs are horrifically sunburned, which means I’m in pain and even worse can’t judge all the other people I’ll see in Margate today who are horrifically sunburned.

Randomly got a migraine yesterday after not having a proper one for years. Went to bed at 8:30, head banging all night. It’s still banging today but I’m in the office for some fresh air and AC.

Doing some Fringe stuff later

What stuff

At Heathrow, about to get 2nd flight then I’m home. Absolutely wiped out, can’t wait to be home.

It is blisteringly sunny here today. From what I can see when I occasionally emerge from my dark boxroom.

My bf is away at the moment, so I took this opportunity to hang another ugly embroidery in the kitchen. Very tempted by another on etsy at the moment eeee.

Going to try and venture to the charity shop at lunchtime. They’ve had some fun vintage dresses lately so I’m hoping I’ll find something.

Coffee on the go, in another Kja mug.
