The second book killed my enthusiasm for it, I know we’re back to the city now but I’m struggling to pick it up. Especially when I’m enjoying the other stuff I’m reading so much.

I still haven’t really gotten a handle on exactly who everyone is and why they’re doing what they’re doing. I think it’s because they’re largely interchangeable poshos.

I haven’t officially given up but I’ve only read Part 3 Chapter 4 which was Feb 19th so I’m like 2 weeks behind.

TBH I too don’t really find myself enjoying it all that much. Characters are confusing and there isn’t one that I particularly like.

Hope to get back on it soon.

I guess being ok reading about the bizarre antics of a bunch of aristocratic Russians helps.
