Wash before first use

After buying these items, assumed from new, would you wash them before using them?

  • Underwear
  • Other clothes
  • Bed sheets and pillowcases
  • Towels
  • Crockery/Cutlery
  • Pans

Probably more of a good rinse than wash though.

Pans, crockery and glasses if they’ve had the labels stuck on them. If not, and anything else, no.

None of the above.
Maybe I’d rinse a baking tray if it still had gummy residue on it from the packaging.

Don’t they tell you to wash towels? Only reason I do it.

If they told you to jump in a puddle, would you do it?

if you don’t wash towels before the first use then you get all that weird towel fluff all over you the first time you try to dry yourself

My auntie once bought me a green shirt when i was about 10, put it on went out it rained. My whole upper body was dyed green.
Didn’t check labels when i was 10

Those not washing their pans are essentially licking dogs’ willies. I’m not judging, if that’s what you want to do then fair enough but it’s not part of my lifestyle.

Can’t believe how many people are wearing underwear straight from the shop even though those pants are probably covered in gonorrhea from the warehouse

It’s like chicken pox, best to get it out of they way early
