Yep, so I’ve heard.

This isn’t a ride we’d choose to do really, but doing it will almost certainly ensure we pre-qualify for PBP. It’s obv also well good prep for going further.

can’t believe you’re not going to stand on the street corner and cheer them on

makes sense: basically flat throughout so shouldn’t be too hard (ignoring the fact you’re going an insane distance), unless you’ve got a strong wind on the exposed bits.

been along the roads you’re going on many times - quite like riding them on my own as they can be so isolated I basically start hallucinating :+1:

Who says I’m not?

I’ll be the one dressed in a homemade Penge jersey.

No!!!

Why are you quitting, if you don’t mind me asking? (Obv you don’t have to answer this)

Weather is very grey here. Really miss that heatwave we had.

Good luck GP, hope it goes smoothly and works out for the best for you

dropped my son off at school this morning. second day for him, first day on his own. he gave me a kiss and cuddle and then waited at the gate. Teacher came and he legged it into school without even looking back and waving. My little lad is growing up :sob:

On the weekend, we kept seeing signs saying wildrooster which had an exclamation mark on them. At first I thought it was because there was a wild rooster nearby and that we should be aware in case it started pecking us. Then we saw more of these signs and started to notice a pattern. Then we realised that the Dutch word for cattle grid is wildrooster which is very strange.

The first time I was in Germany I wondered why all the motorway exits went to a place called Ausgang.

For some reason the only dutch word i can remember is ‘drempel’ (speedbump)

I think you should think about what this says about you

How many double cheeseburgers/McMuffins will Niki eat this weekend?

First day in for 2 weeks, can barely remember what my job is.

MORNING.

Scarfed down a double carb dinner of pasta bake and garlic chessey pizza bread last night and have woken up with my period, so I guess that explains the ravenous monster that I was last nights.

Currently laundering bed linen so I can make up clean beds before we leave for holiday on Saturday as my pet hate is coming home to an old bed.
Then doing a quick conf call before going to the hairdresser to get some lowlights put in my hair, so that the sun doesn’t just bleach it all white (which is a look I used to rock but now, not so much.) It’s my 1st time back at this hairdresser since we fell out over a hair disaster over a year ago (not at her hands, but they had written my appointment in the wrong column of the book and as my hairdresser was fully booked that day, it was a colleague of hers who had to do it. She was utter mince and I was given black and white stipes, like a zebra). Slightly nervous about going back there tbh but I do like the girl who was my actual hairdresser, and had been for many years.#prayforUP

Today I’m mostly worrying about my gf. She sent me a message at 6:30 this morning saying she’d been really ill all night, and I haven’t heard from her since (which is odd for her). Hoping she just went back to sleep.

Other than that I’m procrastinating in the workplace. Balls to Wednesdays.

do you need to worry about what work think though? Do you need them for a reference or something? If not just do what you wanna do and let them suck it up :space_invader:

I got cooked for by water bottle girl last night which was nice (sweet potato gnocchi)

I have woken up with a cold though which is not so nice

WFH - just had a deliciously brexity corn beef, cheese and branston sandwich, about to go and get a few bit from sainos as the kids are with me from this eve.

I also need to buy the eldest a new duvet as one of the cats pissed on hers while we were on holiday.
