Interesting* bit of can-based trivia this evening.
As most can drinkers know, cans are usually 330ml (dinky cans like Brewdog, as well as soft drinks like Coke), 440ml (your standard common-or-garden multipack can), 500ml (these are most often found in off-licences) or 568ml (pint can, a favourite of the train station newsagent).
However, on inspection, these cans of Guinness are 470ml cans.
Is this just to make space for Bob the floating widget (and is therefore standard among draught cans), or are 500ml cans getting smaller?
