Well aware this isn’t the biggest issue in the world right now, but Nando’s on deliveroo aren’t doing mushroom and halloumi wraps. Again, not claiming to be a victim here but this is quite terribly sad IMO

Still working because i spent loads of time faffing around not working earlier. I’m now regretting that decision (in preparation for repeating it tomorrow)
I have only ever been to Nando’s with Wor Lass (and sometimes The Child or Wor In Laws) and so I associate it with having the fun made of me for not being able to do hot sauce properly.

Evening all!
We had some good news about childcare earlier, which was nice and will really cheer The Child up when we tell her next week.
We made roasted sardines and lemon with sweet potatoes. Easily one of the best things we have learned to make in the last year or so.
I’ve got about three hours of work to catch up from today so I’ll be busy with that, hopefully while watching either Rosemary’s Baby or Murder On The Oriental Express.
Chicken and chips and rice with hot sauce.
Not sure you’d be into it.

Yeah! They pump the music into those cubicles and it’s like Ibiza in there. Only without Wayne Lineker trying to grab at you, so it’s a safe space.

On the verge of LOSING MY SHIT over fairy lights!!! If I order another set of fairy lights this year that don’t arrive how I want or how they’re advertised I don’t know what I will be capable of!

I think you’d probably like it as much as it needs to be liked - it’s a chain restaurant that serves food which is fine. Some of the sides and sauces are better or worse but I don’t think you’re missing out any more than you are not living near Greggs or something.

Has Brannagh been cancelled?
I haven’t seen the new one and thought it looked shiny and nice.
I’ve just remembered I’ve got 2 bottles of Nandos marinade that were part of a Christmas present from my sister. Will try those and see. God I miss getting a sneaky Greggs every time I left the house.
