had great intentions of doing a Linux installation on a new mini PC tonight (#nerd) but went to the pub after work and have had four pints and a rum and coke

At Yes for Nourished By Time. I’m overhearing a conversation that is maybe one of the worst conversations I’ve ever overheard and I’ve been in Spinningfields on a Friday night.
passed through a city with a Popeye’s so that was dinner.
heading back to see my dad and then onto Manchester to retrieve a synth, pitch a project, and see an old friend be unbearably happy in his new big house with his overachieving kids.

also was chatting to someone from East Prawle at the pub and was surprised to discover that far from being almost in Manchester (a bit north of Plymouth) as I thought, it is actually virtually London (about thirty miles east of Plymouth).

Had a conversation with my friend (originally working class, now done good) the other day who lives in a house worth about a million about how ‘wouldn’t you send your kids to private school if you had the means, and how it’s not that expensive to send your kids to private school if you are two parents both with a fair income’.
Had to swallow a lot.

Tea was pasta bolognese.
Evening has been uneventful. In bed now, had a rough night with mini (sleep regression we think) last night and tonight is looking to be the same 
.
Still Mr s_w & I are away for 2 nights tomorrow while mini stays at Grandmas! Can’t wait to sleep.

Tired out today
Had leek and potato soup with cheese on toast and a sausage for dinner which was good
Now got some tea and am under a blanket
Declaring summer over, can’t wait until tights season now tbh
