Yeah it’s really cool. It’s written by Tom King who I love, it’s a pretty enigmatic story in his style. I used to pick up issues every week but I’ve mostly switched to comixology since I got a tablet.

I need to commit to doing several things to have a chance:

Exercise every day
Get more sleep
Make music pretty much every day

I know how weak-willed I can become sometimes so it’s a concern

The good thing here is that at least the first two are mutually reinforcing. If you exercise, you’ll sleep better. If you sleep better, you’ll feel up to exercise. Getting into that cycle might be hard, but I have faith!

The old version is still terrifying, though. One of the Marks (Kermode/Cousins) introduced IOTBS on that BBC2 film series they did, and the bookend segments where Kevin McCarthy is talking to the local cops were added on the studio’s orders because otherwise they thought it was too downbeat. (Kevin McCarthy is also in the first remake.)
Just watched Winter Solstice, a play from Germany (translated) about extremism and how it inveigles its way into society. Genuinely chilling.
