Played some of the boardgame Scythe after work. Just made a jalfrezi, gonna eat that and read some comics.
I missed them a few times when they toured Ratworld. I really like that album but not their new one. I’m really just going for Ratworld songs. Looking at recent setlist they’ll play four off it including Tastes Like Medicine; a fun rock song.
Just back from watching Trainspotting 2. Lots of middle-aged blokes in the audience desperate to let us all know that they got every callback to the original during what was actually a total 6/10 film, or maybe a 4/10 in comparison to the first.
See this is my thing about it, haven’t seen the original for what…20 years so have more or less forgotten it other than him swimming in the toilet and the shit al over the table. The actual plot about money etc is gone, is it relevant?
Might just wait for the dvd they seem to be out very quick these days

Just made a pasta dish all in one saucepan, (boil with carrots and brocolli, remove most of the water, stock cube + tin of toms + garlic, chilli, parsley, oregano), then ate it out the saucepan. I am the washing up king/an actual human wreck.
I just had a big bowl of pasta, exactly the same as last night. Used two pots and a baking tray, and ate it out a bowl

i have an actual mountain of washing up to do. we ate burgers and chips for dinner and the wife somehow used everything in the kitchen

It’s watchable, cute, and the fan service is right but something about it felt very unsatisfying and quite sanitised. Tiny high-level spoiler: In terms of plot, it centres around Renton’s theft of the cash 20 years ago.
