I changed at Dubai earlier this year, and that was fine, although my flights were both with the same airline, so I didn’t have to re-check baggage.

Aye I’ve bought this in from home. Had to email everyone about the smashed cafetiere cos it was in the kitchen and I didn’t want anyone to get glass in them. Pretty much did a Gareth Keenan as well and was like ‘secret santa’s round the corner #justsaying’.

If you’ve got more time for a changeover and it’s cheaper, I’d go for Flight 2 for sure.

Had to change in Charlotte NC last year when we went to the States. Stopover was 1h50 I believe. There was a strong wind (of the meteorological kind, not the Epimer kind) which meant we were circling the airport for about 20 minutes. Then we accidentally left a water bottle in one of the girls’ backpacks so we were delayed by another 15-20 minutes at security. Was a bit tense but we managed to catch our connecting plane.
