yeah don’t think there’s any restaurant good enough to queue for.

pal and i tried to go to wahaca on the south bank the other night after a show, and they told us there was a half hour wait but we could go to the bar. went through to the bar and there was a queue to get in :man_facepalming:

Afternoon! Not sleeping well again so feel a bit mad. Playing a gig with Yr Poetry tonight so very excited about meeting my JoFo heroes. I’m going to absolutely fanboy out.

Work is dull.

Do they not do reservations in that London?

OOOOOFT. Fuck that. Get out of there sharpish.

I’ll be fine as we will be taking on more staff but it’s going to be a struggle for a while. This position is my penance before I move up in the organisation to be fair.

not anywhere that’s worth going to

What is this madness

i like when places will take your reservation but also tell you a time you have to leave by. it’s you guys serving the food!!

It’s give and take, if they can do more that one sitting then it increases your chances of getting a table next time. Or it might be a case of eat within 90 minutes or not at all, if it’s busy I’ll take that.

Who schedules an annual appraisal for 4 o’clock, ffs

Just registered to do a 23 mile walk to Balloch next month for charity which is etc. Etc.

Should be good, love walking me, hate blisters though.

Could just get the train.

Take some compeed blister plasters with you. They’re like fake replacement skin.

I’ve got mine then as well

I used to go out with a girl from Balloch. Her name was Marie.

True story.

That’s very good for London tbh.

I’ll happily wait for about 10 minutes for a table. Any longer and I’ll find somewhere else.

Yeah used these when I did some longs walk on holiday a summer or so ago.
