Intrigued where you work now. My home and work are both 10 minutes from Coulsdon in opposite directions.

Hi Pinkybrain and everyone

I just want to put it on the record that I feel exactly the same today, pal. Meh.
Also, just realised I look like a children’s TV presenter in the dress I’m wearing today.

It’s my birthday in two weeks and my birthday party in three weeks but I haven’t actually invited anyone to my birthday party yet. I usually invite everyone about 3 months in advance. I want a party, it’s been ages since we hosted but not really feeling in the mood to celebrate me rn.

Happy Hump Day x

is this #carchat ? i’ve been thinking about trading in my car for a (small) van. probably won’t though because that’s quite stupid.

Lower Kingswood

(and there’s only one big employer there these days, so it’s not hard to figure out who I work for)

This is #carchat !

I can see the appeal of a van if you always have stuff to cart around. Could you compromise and get an estate instead? My fear with a van would be that it would be a bit of a target for opportunist thieves (regardless of whether there was anything in it)

I’m actually downsizing - I drive 40 miles to work and I can’t see why I’d want to spend money on fuel driving something heavier that I’d need to. Plus small cars are MUCH more fun to drive - I owned four old style minis over the years, which wouldn’t be practical these days but I still look fondly on them when I see them.
