Morning all, had a bit of a wild night. Being so tired that I really struggled to get home and then pretty much just lay down in bed as soon as I did, before having fever dreams about the gradual recovery from a cold and dehydration-induced panic attacks in the middle of the night. Seem better right now though, touch wood!
The universe seems to be throwing everything at me atm. In the last 3 weeks: broken laptop, covid/flu, mother in law rushed to hospital in an ambulance with a lung problem (she’s stable now)… today’s test seems to be chronic toothache. If I weren’t broke & just go and have the thing pulled … not possible at €200 is it?

Apparently we’re doing Christmas jumpers today. Luckily i just happened to put one on this morning anyway but if I’d have clocked this fact i would have gone jeans and trainers too but hey ho.
Getting the weans presents out of the loft tonight cause they’ll be at the inlaws and then attempting to hide them somewhere ahead of some frantic weekend wrapping. Every year my wife takes one look at their massive pile of presents and then rushes out to get a few more parcels for them to open - maddening stuff.

MOT day today. It should be fine - my car has been remarkably problem free compared to everything else I’ve owned. Who knows if that’s because they make cars better than they used to or I take better care of the car I drive compared to the past?

200th run of the year this morning. Inexplicably have loads of meetings today, but they should be the last of the year. Get them out of the way and then should have two days of quiet, solitary admin. Promised my son pizza on the sofa and The Grinch later.

Office was like a sauna yesterday and I felt grim by the time i left, them my body temp was all over the place last night, going from freezing to sweating like a pig.
Feel okayish this morning, with a bit of a throat, but not sure if its anything or just being dehydrated from pouring with sweat last night.
Gf has been sick for a week with some chest thing, so desperately hoping it isnt that as I’m meant to be visiting a friend in Edinburgh this weekend.
The tv’s car was trapped in a car park while they removed an unearthed WW2 ordnance which has been fun and not at all stressful.
