Weather was horrible so I finished re-arranging some furniture. The modular bookcase used to be built up all by the window but it meant it was nowhere near the power sockets and the cat kept pushing stuff off the window section. So I separated some units and moved them to the dead spot by the wardrobe. Somehow it feels like I have dramatically more floorspace and have more room for books. (Books stacked up are unread and were previously in the living room.

An ‘All Lives Matter’ idiot crashed a BLM gathering I walked past on my way home before, hurling abuse at people and trying to grab placards, swung at a couple of people, etc.

A passer-by calmly put him on his arse with a lovely right hook, picked him up, shook his hand, gave him a hug and had him on his way.

Exceptional.

I often wonder where it gets off

Like “oh boyoboy manches, got a social situation coming up in a week - can’t wait for that can we?”

And then “oh hey btw just a refresher while you’re on the train to that social situation - literally all of those people absolutely despise you and for some reason are really judgemental about aspects of your work ethic that they couldn’t possibly reasonably have an opinion on. Have a nice time tho xoxo”

Yep. My friend wrote this book and I was really excited to get it two weeks ago (even if it had to be ebook because the only UK place with hard copies was Amazon because it was more Australia/US release) and I only started reading it today.
