Was meant to be going to the sales earlier but my wife had an awful night’s sleep so A and I are on the couch watching ‘Superworm’.
How this affects our night out later I do not know. Will have to wait and see.

Wor Lass is back at work today because she has a proper job. I’m considering taking The Child to the museum but the weather is currently awful and I don’t really want to drive.

Back to work today - 11.15 til 6.30 which isn’t a bad little job and means I’m home in time to watch the football.
Quite looking forward to a bowl of porridge for breakfast shortly.
My partner’s bro and wife go home today, bit sad as we’ve had a great time over the last couple of days.
Got another day of meals with the parents/in law’s. Doesn’t end does it? Little 'un has a horrid cough as well (mine still hasn’t shifted either) but my mum is also ill so the meal might be cancelled. Actually crossing my fingers it does, could do with some downtime really and my father in law was quite rude to my daughter, so don’t really want to see him for a while.

Work today could be awful. Which means it will be both awful and then worse than awful.
Had a dream I was trying to fix things for a script I wrote (that needs executing in production today) but it involved scaling the side of a mountain to do so

Forgotten how tiring newborns are and this is still during the magical first two weeks. Happy to still be in paternity leave mind.
It’s great though. Also got to build a Lego groot/venom thing and prepare the house for guests from tomorrow.

Got into work to find a fake spam email sent by IT promising a load of really nice reward and recognition things with a ‘click here to find out more’.
Thanks guys, this definitely isn’t going to cause my department a fucking whole lot of headaches and contribute to people leaving / feeling shit at a time when many people are financially vulnerable

Ha, they used to do this pretty regularly at my old work.
To the point that when, one year, the company did actually give us something for Christmas, everyone thought it was infosec up to their old tricks.

Man, the weather is utterly wild. No wild swimming today, then.
Got to tidy up after Christmas. Just did two loads of dishes and going to do some laundry, and I’ve got a abscess in the mouth that is making it hard to swallow - fucking wisdom teeth, who needs em.
Wife is feeling even worse so pub might be cancelled but i dunno.

Don’t think there will be our traditional Christmas shuffleboard though
