How about an Indian ready meal? Do they make you sick too?

#devonlife when you go to pick up the cat from the vet and there’s a sheep getting its leg bandaged in the car park.

We’re having a bag of, what we’re calling, Mystery Chilli from the freezer. It was made in the slow cooker and there are at least two portions of it.

I’m currently cooking rice to go alongside it and have realised the defrosted Mystery Chilli smells a lot like bolognese sauce.

Ricey Bolognese?

Just not the same!

it’s ok to feel sorry for yourself sometimes, I think the important thing is to not add a second layer of guilt onto your emotions whatever you decide to do!

sometimes maybe you can’t help feeling guilty though so just don’t feel guilty about feeling guilty if it comes to that

No but if you’re already ill eating something that you know makes you feel unwell is not a very good idea! There must be some other comforting food you could have

Ah, but you see ‘Cotten Eyed Joe’ in an older form sung by someone like Burl Ives is kind of… acceptable? Not great by any stretch, but you get to listen to Burl Ives for a couple of minutes and he had maybe the best voice anyone had (don’t @ me, he was an awesome singer)

Whereas ‘Follow Me’ is going to be absolute shite sung by anyone.

It was OK.

Turns out it was a turkey and lentil bolognese that we originally ate with courgette spaghetti.

My version was significantly more carby.

Yes.
