I have had no freezer for a year because the seal broke and then it got so frosted up i can’t do anything with it. not without defrosting it and i’m loathe to say i’ve never defrosted a fridge or freezer. also the fridge is way too cold as a result and half my food freezes in there.

i live in a decent flat and am a functioning adult. why am i like this?

This is what happened to mine. I’m afraid you’re going to have to woman up and defrost it tilts.

the guy that fixed the light left his glasses behind, oh no :astonished:

The greatest of points made there rob.

but then i have no fridge wahhhhh.

Rains on

You can get freezers that don’t need defrosting now. Mine doesn’t and it wasn’t particularly spendy

I live in rented accomodation with white goods provided ostensibly. When I told the landlord (who came round and looked) he said 'oh well you’re going to need to let it defrost and then see if it needs a new seal or whether you need a new fridge freezer.

so of course i never bothered.

a friend just had a holiday cottage with a hot tub booked for her by one of her friends, for 4 nights, just so she’d have a nice quiet place to properly write her PhD - totally out of the blue

some people have too much damn money

have i made my cheese toastie yet?

It only takes a day. Don’t be like me tilty, defrost your fridge.

Oh I see, that’s annoying. At least now it’s getting colder you might be able to leave some fridge stuff outside or something to keep cool while you defrost

Gonna pop my own corn tonight, exciting. Might just go salt but realistically I could put anything on there and no one could stop me.

Also, downstairs neighbour has left the back gate open and it’s WINDY so all I can hear is rattle rattle SLAM silence… SLAM rattle

I’m not shutting it, love. Out of principle. That’d mean putting my slippers on and going outside and I’m sorry honey but that ain’t happening

Do you have access to a biggish Tesco? They do jars of salted caramel spread/sauce and I reckon a dollop of that would be incredible

That’s what I used for three months :joy:

maple syrup is a winner too, or making some cinnamon sugar

Unfortunately not :frowning: that sauce sounds incredible!
I’m more of a savoury popcorn person, too.
