Rediscovered Akron/Family this morning. What a band they are (were?). Started looking at money saving expert this morning - got a meerkat movies thing for a year for £1.49. Great moves.

In other news, trying to face everything with positivity at what has been a shitty time in casa 873458974534565 - let’s see how long that lasts.

Also, I wanted to know did you follow the instructions properly? … by that I mean, did you just put a few seeds in spaced apart or did you just chuck in loads? I chucked in loads and I’m wondering if that was a bad idea. Haha!!

Hey love! It’s funny you ask because I had to give it a bit of a topiary trim this morning. Ha ha I’ve done the exact same thing as you, went a bit nuts on the amount of seeds I lobbed in, 3 packets might’ve been a bit overkill :grimacing:

The green shoots have definitely grown though and a couple have the wee cotton boll forming in its infancy so I must be doing something right!

Went out for a pub quiz last night but wasn’t drinking and wanted to get an early night and get up early for a run but the fecking thing started two hours late so that didn’t happen. Got to hang out with some old ATDs though. I had this moment of massive idiocy where I suddenly realised I had never actually bought a ticket for the festival I’m supposed to be going to this weekend and have been planning for months. Searched my email and couldn’t find any sign I’d bought a ticket. It’s not sold out so could still have gotten one today, but at the last tier so like €160. Messaged my friends I’m going with in a panic only for one of them to be like “cutthelights you idiot, I bought your ticket, you transferred me the money six months ago” :sweat_smile:

Morning all.

Tired. Just tired. Also our cat Socks has fleas, and so now everything has fleas. We detoxed the bedroom last night as a temporary measure and shut him out and then I woke up this morning with him lying on the bed staring at me and a bunch of fresh flea bites. Must have snuck in during a middle of the night toilet run. The sneaky bastard.

Any tips for de-fleaing a cat/house? Gonna hit Pets at Home tonight and try and get it sorted before the gf burns the house down.

I hope you’re all well and at some point today you catch yourself in a mirror and think, “damn, I am just on it today.”
