As @rob.orch says they’re generally full of crap. Often excessively so.

Mine are older now; and we’ve taken to putting together party bags that contain craft/stationery stuff, which can be done on the cheap (probably cheaper than a load of confectionery anyway), and seems to go down better with kids.

Help!

So, if you were to put something in to be fixed, you should always be given an estimate of roughly how much it will be, right? What do you do if you aren’t given an estimate and then you are told the item cost a LOT more than you expected to be fixed.

hi gang. FINALLY leaving california today :tada:

off to canadia for a bit before coming home. should be fun.

take it somewhere else?

Is that one of the raspberry ones? They are the best. Also :+1: for other good news.

Ask them to send it back as you want to get other estimates.
They shouldn’t be fixing it before letting you know what it will cost.

Wonder what the first stop on my train’s going to be…

Got my growler filled and some cans. Very tempted to chug from it classily in the park.

Save it for Thursday

I was about to link to that Led Zep song until I realised the song is Going To California and you’re doing the opposite.
