How rude. How are you bam?

If it was me, I’d get myself a pile of pasties and pies and wade into them.

that’s great about your health! There’s always challenges though eh? Stay strong, just think how great it will be when you see your fam again

I’m alright I suppose, bit crushed about my music but I’ll start something else soon.

very london-centric thing to say but i’ve always known people to struggle with job applications here if they don’t already live within the M25. if you’re working in a shop job already, could you not pick your city and move first, get a pub/shop job and apply for better stuff when you get settled in? you’d meet people in the meantime and would be more likely to hear about unadvertised jobs and whatnot.

don’t really like either I’m afraid. Could go for some lemon cake and a beer though

Think I’ve got a migraine coming on. That’s going to be really, really good for seeing Melt Banana.

Excellent news!

Not going to do much, cook some dinner and read some stuff probably. Just had my first Swedish lesson, which was quite fun.

Hi everyone.

Waiting on some jacket potatoes. Listening to this:

One of my favourite album covers and the music isn’t bad. But like all pre-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Jeff Tweedy things, it’s making me really want to drink rather a lot of whisky.

I’d love to learn Swedish.

One of our Programme Managers at work is amazing. He is from Middlesbrough, but was born in Sweden. Hearing him speak the language I’m attuned to hearing Wallander speak, yet with a highly discernible Teeside lilt is so much fun.

Haha that is amazing! It’s a really nice language but probably kinda pointless if you don’t live in Sweden. Lovely-sounding though, and not actually as hard as it first seems (to speak basic phrases at least)

…also, you going to carry on with the monday graveyard some day?

loved that show, you had a super relaxing and affable presenting style as well.

Posed for a photo and now I can’t walk :joy:
Not going to do anything but worry about the election now.

It sounds really interesting - watching Wallander with subtitles, there are bits that are very much akin to German, and yet other parts that sound like Chaucer-era Englishe. It would only be anything I ever learned for fun. There’s something about Swedish intonation that I love as well.

Yeah, restarted a few weeks back. Got. Four good shows in but not one this week.

This one is awesome
