Yeah but how do you do it without it being soggy?

I’m asking because the bf has put three whole raw sweet potatoes in the oven with the intention of scooping out the innards and mashing them. I’m very hungry. I’m concerned this way will take years, literally years. Should I take them out and boil them instead?!?!

My default would be do them the same way as normal potatoes - peel, boil, mash.

Your bf’s way may take weeks or months, but not years however.
