Has noticeably improved under Guardiola, in the short spells he’s gotten; his crosses do occasionally find someone in the same colour shirt now. I know I’ve harped on about him on here before but I don’t really like the amount of stick he gets off City fans because he’s a trier if nothing else, whereas there’s a few others who disappear when the going gets tough.

Frustrating game to add to the recent catalogue of frustrating games. I can sort of see the logic of trying a wing-back system but it was still a special kind of madness to put Kolarov and Stones together with Rusty for the first time and not expect them to cock it up.

United have won once at the Bridge in the league since 2002. Put the farm on Big Blue

I agree Navas gets a disproportionate amount of stick. His stats over his time at City are actually very good, in terms of making goals and creating chances at least, and he works hard…the issue for me are his Walcottism (the inability to think at the most oportune moments when given any real time to) and that we’ve got younger, cheaper, better players in his position out on loan who are going to walk away and in all probability become standout players elsewhere quite quickly, most obviously Celina.

Looking forward to infinite shots of sad benched Rooney, then shots of sad benched Terry, then the managers faces, repeat. Not sure they’ll have time to show any of the football tbqh.
Unless Rooney’s playing.
edit: apparently he’s fat/ill

think Chelsea will sneak this one

conte’s a much better appointment than pep isn’t he

Horses for courses, think both clubs made the best appointment for them

Proven in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues and with international pedigree under his belt… difficult to argue against that one.
