Not anti bants pal. I’m fed up with Pardew. Clueless. The FA cup run covered up how bad we are in the league this year.

Was talking about city tbh tbf, but everyone is at it round here

Oh bloody hell. Football can go eff itself.

Fair enough Burnley scored about 30 seconds after my post. 5 wins out of 33 for us this year, I think.

Good stuff all round. Roll on Chelverton…

Meanwhile, Leeds game sounds crazy as folk.
Unlucky to be behind, now lucky to be ahead… beaut of a goal though :soccer:

I do have bit of a cold, tbf

Should’ve won that about 7-1.

Fair play to Boro for taking their chance.

always find myself annoyed that it’s FA cup weekend and then even more annoyed when we get knocked out

LEEDS ARE IN THE TOP SIX.

Going to my first game of the season in two weeks, sold out against Newcastle. Should be an amazing atmosphere given this run - will probably be hysterical if we win.

Particularly galling because Middlesbrough deserved to get fuck all out of that. No ambition, risible set-up, awful football. Chuck one decent cross into the box in the 89th minute, Clichy shits himself, now it’s a tactical masterclass. So salty it isn’t even true

On another day City score a few and it’s not even up for debate, but whilst Sutton’s assertion that Boro suddenly turned into Atletico Madrid at half-time’s OTT they did improve, De Roon and Clayton kept them fairly solid in the middle and they gave it some sort of a go. Whilst they didn’t deserve a point City’s profligacy in front of goal means we didn’t really deserve all three…and besides, we all know there’s not a lot better than your team going away from home, being under the cosh right from the offset and sneaking something late. From our point of view i think we have to view the week as a whole - seven points from a run of three games on the back of a poor run. Meh.

Non sequitur of the week from David Moyes: “We went to a factory this week, showing the players it is much better to be a footballer than working in a factory.”
