Was a bit shaky at first, but after we got the hang of their shape our midfield dominated. When all Coquelin is required to do is disrupt he looks like a proper player, and the partnership with Xhaka is looking very solid.

Mixed. Some seem to think he’s absolutely useless (see, Jordan). I don’t think there’s any difference in his performances compared to his goal-a-game start or for PSG but Ibrahimovic has always been called out when he didn’t score. He’s still hitting as many shots on target as anyone else in the league, and statistically once you’re taking those shots the likelhihood is you’re going to score goals. Happens to the best of strikers (RVP had a similarly horrendous run during his title winning season that has been understanably forgotten) but a run of bad “luck” - including fluffed sitters and freakishly good saves - for a no. 9 in a one striker system can kill a season dead.
