City’s defending is pretty shambolic tbf

Kola - Not a defender
Zaba - Old
Otto - Rash
Komps - Crock

Then add trying to pass it out from the back into the mix it becomes slapstick

The club’s blindspot at full back gets weirder with every passing season. I didn’t expect Zabaleta to struggle quite as badly as he has today though.

Nfc what the thinking with Fernando is. I mean, in general. In 3 years I don’t understand what a Fernando is or what it’s supposed to do.

best spurs have looked this season by miles

This is lovely stuff from Spurs. Said it more than once but City couldn’t have picked a more routine opening six games. I defy anyone to say Liverpool and Spurs aren’t comfortably the two best teams in the country. Absolutely no way any coach walks into a club and turns them around overnight. Hopefully the Pep love-in will die down a bit now. This could end up five or six.

Had a lovely ol’ time at your gaff, love that stadium. Nice and easy to get to, great vibe, away supporters sound like there’s 50,000 of you, never any trouble, and bloody good cheeseburgers. Thought you lot edged it, but we could have nicked it late on. Draw seemed fair enough, shame there wasn’t a couple of goals. At least we’re out the bottom three, woo.

There’s no way they’re putting this amount of effort into yer Watfords and Southamptons away in the middle of December. Both Liverpool and Spurs look fantastic when they’re against top 6 sides, but this title will be decided by who can grind out the most amount of wins versus the rest.

It’s a nice change seeing Utd create tons of chances and shanking them instead of creating hardly anything but with a decent rate of conversion. Same end result though.

That Spurs bought Alderweireld is hilarious. All the top 4 at that time had seen him be awe-inspiring for Saints and none of them went for him. Idiots.

COYS

Really entertaining game that.

The invincibles sneer at yer Pep Guardiolas.

Think we’ve got away with it there, really. Would’ve snapped your hands off for 2-0 at half-time.

Whoever finishes above Spurs will win the title. They look every bit as fit, quick, strong and hungry as Leicester did last season.

Arsenal then

Thought he had a very impressive game. Didn’t panic when he was under pressure on the ball.

I think a few clubs might benefit from not purchasing Southampton players who have looked decent for them tbh tbf.

Draw to Stoke and all, but United were really good today. Signs of progress where under LVG and Moyes there was only stagnation. Disappointed but happy.

Based on the opening few weeks it looks like there’s a bit of a gap in quality between the standout teams (Liverpool and Spurs) and the next best (City and Arsenal), then again to the best of the rest (Chelsea and United), but it can soon change.

I just think the first two can soak up the loss of first teamers better, as their quality is more spread over the squad rather than top heavy towards a few elite players. Essentially they’re better teams, despite having fewer obviously world class footballers.

You’re under egging City’s performances based on one result. They’ve been amazing in previous games.

If we can actually be consistent for the first time in 12 years and put in this current form through, say, 70% of our league games we’ll have probably the best chance of beating yous to the title (given our far superior defence to Liverpool and greater star quality than Spurs). Big if tho.
