Mainly it’s a tic, but the runner frequently gets to “access” cards from the corps hand, so it’s a good way to make sure it’s randomised.

Also so you don’t give away information about how long a card has been in your hand.

Yeah, you’d get laughed out of the place for that. I went to a tournament with the tail end of a migraine once and wore sunglasses between rounds because the fluorescent lights were killing me, but I still took them off for my games because nobody wants to be That Guy.

That game you linked was bumhat, btw. The Wilfster had a tech card in hand from turn one that basically turned off the Tonguer’s deck. Also the commentators didn’t know wtf they’re talking about, even though they work for the company that make the fucking game.

I’m going to keep playing it with the fan-run stuff. But that’ll be less frequent, probably.

I play the Game of Thrones one a bit, but… I’m not sure I like it. Also I’m shit at it. One of the best players in the world has just moved to the 'bridge though, so I’m going to try to get him to teach me to git gud.

I’m hoping Artifact is good (digital only obvs) but I’m not convinced by the previews.

And, in a shocking turn of events… I might go to a Magic pre-release event at the end of the month. It’s a much worse game than Netrunner, but it’s got so much more support.
