Went to the Hull Maritime Museum a few years ago and one the first information sign it said something like

“Hull has a rich seafaring history”.

No shit. You wouldn’t have a maritime museum unless there was one would you?

Rotterdam’s Maritime Museum is highly recommended.

Pretty much the only time you will see “Hull” and “rich” in the same sentence :frowning:

This one wasn’t great. Volunteer who worked there was lovely though.

Thought The Deep was disappointing too.

Boats are shit

Used to love the place when I was a kid. Loads of great model boats and that. Plus the badly stuffed polar bear. Then again I was easily amused

I hate nautical stuff. As soon as anything goes on water I’m just thinking “this would be better on land”

Boring

When I was little I thought the word seafaring was seafearing

and like it was one of those terms for people who truly respected the sea because they were aware of how terrfying it could be

HARD A-STARBOARD!

Hope you shouted that for every right turn you took in there.

how’d you feel about tunnels and air based travel?

like god fearing

i went on a whale spotting cruise off cape cod last year that would have been very boring on land.

I don’t mind tunnels and I quite like flying
