Watched it though

Glastonbury 2000 was the last one that wasn’t sold out. I bought my ticket in HMV Reading three days before the site opened.

Germany v Russia the day after the Manchester bomb at Old Trafford. Still the strangest weekend of my life by a significant margin.

2002 didn’t sell out quickly. I biught my ticket with ease, with a month or two to spare. 2003, however, after Radiohead had been announced sold out in a day :sob:
