The one/two of this and then the title track on Skeleton Tree absolutely destroys me every time.
Yet to hear the live EP. I’ll correct that now.
Sorry to say that I did catch the tour (in Italy). It was devastatingly good.
It was a volleyball arena in Padua.
It was better than that makes it sound.
In lieu of finding a CD copy (I’m retro but not socially acceptable cool retro), I tried to find a digital copy of this album but there was only vinyls available on Bandcamp. And then I found digital copies available on Boomkat. Rate chuffed (even though I’d forgotten my Boomkat password)
I rediscovered Messenger in the camp for a car journey yesterday.
I’ve now got this stuck in my head, which is a good thing.
they’ve got one of those ‘I’ll never listen to this band’ names, but I love this album, been listening to it non-stop recently, including like twice in a row today
I’d been meaning to listen to this for ages. A Sunny Day In Glasgow were definitely my favourite band in my early-twenties / very late teens. I think I prefer it to the last proper album, on this first listen.
