It is the first year for around a decade that I don’t have a major source of work stress or a life-changing upheaval planned
2012 - move to Oz
2014 - return from Oz
2015 - first child, new job
2016 - start PhD
2017 - second child
2019 - PhD thesis / viva
2020 - covid, third child
2021 - more fucking covid, exit exam for specialist training
2022 - start consultant post, two house extensions in six months
Quite looking forward to an intensely bland and unmemorable time, punctuated by enough sleep. And turning 40. Fuck.
