Off to visit my mum for the bank holiday weekend who lives in a beautiful part of the country, unfortunately several thousand tourists will also have the same idea - visiting that part of the country not visiting my mum.

Flying home on Tuesday, seeing my family and friends, not working and eating lots of chocolate.
Off this week - whether it is good or bad depends on the weans. Already spent close to £100 keeping them amused in a field this today, so also hoping not to go bankrupt.
Got pile tomorrow night though and one wean is in nursery so it might be slightly easier than a two bairn day.

Continuing to read my book (very likely finishing it too!) It’s fairly heavy subject matter, but really well written and it manages to be compelling without delving into gross lurid-ness.
Going to be filming on Wednesday (admittedly I’m sort of dreading this a little, but it’s a later start and a half-day of work, so maybe a nice meal out afterwards in Solihull? Who knows? Not me!)
Good Friday off work, which - dear reader - will also kick of my week’s holiday! And I’ll be seeing Yo La Tengo!!!

Back at work at 4.30 in the morning

Wife is off work.
Going somewhere for a day out on Wednesday or Thursday.
Got some nice dinners planned.
Having Saturday off work and going to the football.
The in-laws coming home on Tuesday, so we no longer have to look after their unhinged puppy.
3 day week but tomorrow is set to be horrible. Hopefully I can just stretch through it.
