A friend of mine who’s roughly the same height as @_Em says that the most common lie she encounters from men in dating sites is their height. Lots of 5’9/10 guys insisting that they’re 6’. As Vampire Weekend once sang, why would you lie 'bout something dumb like that?

Yep, and it’s like a massive thing to them, and if you give any hint that you believe that they aren’t 6ft it’s like you’ve destroyed their poor, fragile manhood. Because apparently their entire self esteem depends on officially being 72" tall. I don’t understand it.

I think my appearance and personality don’t match up so well. I think I look like I’m going to be meek and mild and young, and possibly like I might giggle and butter up their egos for the slightest thing. That isn’t me.

It’s weird but once I hit about 27/28 something changed in me and I stopped giving a shit about what other people think of me. Was it the same for you?

Would just like to state, on the record, that I know that I’m short but I am still quite annoyed about it.

Got a couple of friends the exact same height as me, I have no feelings of superiority over them or anyone else really though. We can discuss being quite annoyed at being short together though which is nice I guess.

Haha, I’m beginning to think we may have actually worked together, as I had a very similar colleague. Every day he’d eat two chicken breasts covered in Nandos sauce and some steamed broccoli. I was kind of darkly fascinated with him.

Unfortunately I think they infest a lot of place. You should have seen the look on this guy’s face when I told him that the human body can only absorb so much protein per day, so he was probably pissing out the majority of the over-priced whey he was drinking.

mostly wear jeans that just say L, R or S tbh. i seem to vary between R and S.

Because it’s pointless information. Genuinely never given it any thought when buying jeans or trousers. Unless you’re very tall or very short you’re absolutely fine just going off waist sizes. 90% will be the average (31") or at a push an inch either way…but then i suspect you already knew all this.
