What can you fix with super glue?

Be nice for everybody to know for future reference.

So far I know you can fix:

Headphones

A Mop

Shoes

A broken vase

I don’t believe anything’s able to manage that!

I “fixed” a boot with some superglue recently and it was like an episode of Mr Bean, ended up glueing my finger to the boot and then I tried to use some cotton wool doused in nail polish remover to help get my finger off but just stuck the cotton wool to the boot as well. Absolutely ridiculous carry on.

I ‘fixed’ myself an envelope of the correct size, folding a piece of paper and supergluing the edges together.

It did, although Luke Skywalker’s helmet has subsequently come apart again.

My experiences with superglue.

Go into cupboard, look for old superglue.
Find tube of superglue.
Tube of superglue is now solid as a rock because it did the only thing it knew how.
Throw it away.
Go to shops to buy new tube of superglue.
See superglue and think “Hmm, that is WAY more than I need”
Realise it’s the only one they have, so buy it anyway.
Use tiny amount of superglue, seal it up as tight as possible and put in cupboard.

and repeat.
