Mentioned it before, it’s basically a perpetual motion machine that would definitely work because I did physics!

When I was a kid I invented a system of hooking up the sewers to rubbish bins so that all rubbish would get swept along with the sewage and would mean you would need bin lorries driving round everywhere. My heart was in the right place.

A TripAdvisor style website that does reviews from a vegan/veggie/various dietary requirements perspective but it sort of already exists.
A disruptive industry that pays people to let others use their empty loft/garage/cellar/whatever space as storage space. Would have massive insurance and start up costs but reckon itd make a killing

Yeah I made one of these, but mine only did medium hadrons. Couldn’t be bothered trying to find a bigger garage.

I invented Shazam. Or rather I thought Shazam would be useful before it existed, but didn’t have the knowledge, technical skill or inclination to do anything about it.

Had a guy once come into work who claimed he’d invented an aftermarket engine thinger that would let all current engines run on biodiesel, effectively solving the world’s energy needs. Said his neighbours were annoyed at him because he’d got it all rigged up in his garage and the local taxi drivers were queueing round the block for it.

I said ok, sounds fantastic, just write up some technical details and maybe a few sketches, send them through and we’ll get started on your patent application.

Never heard from him again.

I invented Banoffe pie.I called it Toffanna pie though. This name didn’t take off and someone else got all the credit. Similar with the Spork. I called it a Foon. I’m good at inventing stuff just shit at naming them.
