I’m vegetarian so I eat them for dinner
Put them in a heap at the bottom of the garden and wait for them to turn into leaf mould.
what happens then though?
pop them in your garden waste bin. Or maybe put some in your compost bin if you have one.
Just leave em. Let nature takes its course, innit?
Use it as a mulch or as potting compost.

You can round here. Surely its no different to putting bush/tree clippings that are covered in leaves in there.

Probably means actual dirt for compost doesn’t it?
I have, on occasion, got rid of a load of garden rubble/soil - just make sure it’s covered with plenty of grass clippings.
I hate to see them go but I love watching them leave
