our sofa is blue and we have a grey ikea chair so nothing matches for us either but i think it will work once we’ve decided wtf we’re doing with the living room

people love cheese plants don’t they. maybe i’ll get one for mike

Sailor Moon trainer socks, one of those heated clothes driers, and a fidget cube.

I see. I think I just like it when things match really.

Yeah fuck that. I’d sooner get a bank loan out but should only really do that for joint ‘important’ stuff rather than my hobby stuff.

Actually Interest Free Credit Cards are out there now for 24 months with £3k limits these days aren’t there… (ARGH)

Can you zoom out a couple of notches further please?

Gonna save so much money not having to buy cheese every week. How’s that plant doing that his colleague binned off on him?

We bought a Berber rug the other week :sunglasses:

(Btw, we have the same sofa as you. You will literally never, ever put the sofa bit in)

I take my home inspo from airbnbs we’ve stayed in, especially Olso and Copenhagen. They’re all so HYGGE! I WANT HYGGE. And those hygge style rooms are largely neutral but they do have some kind of mismatch around the furniture which is what I want.

This is what I am having my bedroom like.

it’s fine, though i think we might need to move it into the bedroom as it’s the warmest part of the house and i think they like warmth

gonna buy him a book about keeping houseplants for christmas and i thought a venus flytrap might be a funny little thing to get too? maybe? hah. hmm.

Bit more expensive, but this fella has served me well over the years

Also, never take it apart and try to put the sticky outy bit on the other side. You WILL lose your head and you WILL end up somehow making it so the bed bit comes unattached regularly and just sort of drifts across the room.

This is a great shout! Do they need warmth as well? Might have a little look around Morden Hall Park’s garden centre this weekend.

Fucking hell I’m old.

Cheers, if it is over budget I could just make up the difference myself

I’m really excited for Christmas :cowboy_hat_face: My sisters bf is coming over and he’s a GBOL and me and my dad have watched Fargo for the last 2 years, so I’m feeling that if we do it for 3 years it’s a tradition! Also going to Edinburgh for New Years! It’s like I’m a child again!

Not really. We have a couple in the porch.

Cheers filth, the lower maintenance the better.

Love a Christmas tradition like that. My brothers and I watch the original Jason And The Argonauts every Christmas but this time I don’t think we’ll all be home at the same time
