If you slice a bit off it condenses to an unbelievable degree under the pressure and ends up about 25% of the height/width of the original loaf.

They used to do a lovely apple flavour loaf a few years back and then stopped. Terrible loss

Still available in packs of five little bars, along with strawberry or banana ones. I get them for my kids as a snack, don’t tend to eat them myself but the apple ones do smell like the best ones.

I can imagine that if you got a normal original flavour soreen…put some butter on it…and ate it…you would be very happy.

Soreen is huge with the youth in this house, particularly the bars. ‘Biccy?’ is the ever hopeful cry from the youngest. Banana is the favourite. (although those little Organix gingerbread men are the most popular of all).
