What films have you walked out at the cinema

And honestly, reader, I expect you’ll be walking out of this thread after seeing the 15th iteration of this joke

  1. Was really because I’d be late for the bus home, but not exactly gutted about it.

There was only one film I didn’t walk out of… and that’s when I went to a drive in cinema!

I was bundled into the back of Grease Chief’s Cadillac because of some long standing beef between myself and his motorcycle gang. I got my own back in the end cause no one messes with the Cobras!

I thought I’d walked out of a 500 quid screening of the Matrix but those far out disruptors at Secret Cinema had actually plugged me into a simulation and the last fifteen years of my life have just been one big fucking lie. I’ve been able to deal with the existential pain by downing some Captain Sir Tom limited edition gin

Captain Tom loved his gin and I can only hope he isn’t some mirage concocted by Roko’s Basilisk

Why does this gin taste like chicken

Oh god fuck no

Went for a sleep during Cabin Fever, but I’ve always stayed to the end.

Edit: actually walked out the Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, because I was drunk and sitting too close to the imax screen and it was dreadful.

Good film that (both)

Nearly walked out The Tree of Life, loads of folk did but i was kind of curious like watching a disaster unfold in front of you. Fucking terrible shite film.

Wanted to walk out of killing them softly which was tonally very weird to begin with but i stayed and it didn’t get any better.

None recently, but certainly Santa Sangre, which was the worst heap of bollocks.

Did anybody go and see Cats at the cinema?

Only once - walked out of a Babylon screening after 30 minutes cos the projection was fucked and they weren’t fixing it.

I was confused enough by the trailer

I did!

I think that is genuinely what scared me

Did you walk out?

No! I was thoroughly enjoying looking round at the husbands of 50+ year old wives as cat Jason Derulo writhed around on screen
