What gigs you got upcoming?

I don’t know actually. A friend pointed it out to us. The film + Q&A is doing a tour around Australia IIRC so maybe he’s doing it all over. I was sure I saw IM say that Guy lived in Italy so I don’t think it’s just one of those things where he’s local.

I’ll keep an eye out. Sure it will provoke some interesting discussion. Enjoy!

Habibi tonight. Quite a few next week.

Stuff for rest of May/June:

Tonight:
Therapy? & Django Django - BBC 6Music freebie
Tomorrow and Saturday:
BBC Biggest Weekend Belfast - The Breeders, Manics , Beck, Father John Misty, First Aid Kit, Ash etc
June 15th:
The National w/ John Grant, Lisa Hannigan, Preoccupations, Jay Som
June 16th:
The National w/ Villagers, Cate Le Bon, Rostam

I thought it was Joe who lived in Italy

Modern Life is War - Exchange, Bristol.
Norma Jean - Fleece, Bristol

Possible: Future Islands - not sure about this “St Phillips Gate” place that doesn’t seem to exist yet?

It’s the mystery that everyone (no-one) in Bristol is talking about. Ironically it ‘appears’ to be someone near the mythical Bristol Arena site…

Yeah probably. Guy lives in Brooklyn

Caved in and bought tickets for the LCD/Young Fathers show in Glasgow on Sunday. The addition of YF as support and the amazing weather swung it. Should be a fun gig!

It’ll be fucking great, I know so many people that are going to it. Sorry I won’t be there.

That’s some good double/triple/quadruple bill gigage tbh tbf…

On the bus to Japanese Breakfast, maaaaan

Seem to be veering worryingly towards being a day ticket dad with pretty much only arena shows coming up -

Nine Inch Nails - Royal Albert Hall
The Cure - Hyde Park
Sage Francis - Heartbreakers, Southampton
Slayer - Wembley Arena

The best I seem to find is it being here, aerial view here. Forgive me if I am wrong but this appears to be an abandoned warehouse on the Feeder Road.

En route to all points east :+1::grinning:

Loads over the next month

Black Lips tonight
5/6 Preoccupations
10/6 Crack Cloud
11/6 Omni
12/6 Black Midi
23/6 MBV

I’m missing black lips tonight on glasgow :weary:

Looking forward to The Twilight Sad in a few weeks at the Brudenell.
