Some ripped up Turkish flatbread
Little tub of Truffle hummus
A plum
A little tub of tomatoes and radishes
A slice of soreen
A peanut oat bar
A suckie yoghurt
Ella’s kitchen (yes for children) pouch of apple pear and papaya
A biomel choc shot
Those ellas kitchen baby pouches are dead good for festivals and the like. Hangover cure then a cute little hipflask to fill up and tuck in your bra or whatever
Depends on what time I’m working, how long I’m working for and when (and where) my breaks are. Too many variables.
Generally always take some sort of chocolate biscuit bar to go with a mug of tea and a little pot of grapes with me.
If I’m working through the middle of the day, it will invariably be a sandwich/sandwich-adjacent and a bag of crisps. For example tomorrow (working 11-6.30) it’ll be a ham and cheese wrap, a bag of salt and vinegar Squares and a caramel Rocky.
Instant porridge for breakfast if I’m on earlies. On lates it could be leftovers/ready meal/soup/sandwiches or a takeaway as a treat.
something savoury for the ‘main’ bit of lunch (usually hot leftovers; it’s kusksu & egg for the rest of this week)
some savoury nibbles (e.g. olives, pickled beetroot, silverskins, carrot sticks)
a bag of crisps (S&V Squares at the moment)
a Pink Lady apple
strawberry or raspberry yoghurt
sweet playpiece to eat with afternoon coffee
And it always gets eaten in that order
plus there is either a tin of Irn Bru Xtra/Pepsi Max or a bottle of fizzy water for drinking at lunch. If I’m on the fizzy water, I’ll add a Berocca or an electrolyte tablet for flavour
