Wouldn’t say love but i used to detest pesto - think being introduced to it on a pizza and being taken unawares by the flavour did a number on me. Quite like it now.
Having to eat fish curry for every meal in the maldives turned me from a seafood naysayer, to a seafood enthusiast.
Balsamic vinegar
First thought it was a disgusting status symbol, then I thought it was nice but overrated, then thought it justified itself as a key ingredient in some recipes, now I know how and when to properly use it and I love it for its versatility. That properly applied tablespoonish sized glug when your frying your veg for a pasta dish, well it just makes all the difference doesn’t it?

Was a lager drinker through my teens and early twenties until my wife’s uncle took me under his wing. Top chap. Actually called “Bob” too. Bob’s her uncle. Anyway, yeah, beer.

Been pretending that herbal tea isn’t garbage for years, and after about half a decade of forcing myself to like it I’ve got to the point where I don’t hate it any more.
I’ve learned to love shaving. Just a nice sensation, lots of hot water, pricey face stuff if I can afford it or it’s been Christmas recently.
