Barcelona in Feb half term. Cannot wait.

just toying with Bilbao in January as is stupid cheap, but then they start stupid cheap don’t they, and end up not stupid cheap when one has spaffed a million quid on tapas.

Thanks! I’m living and working in the Czech Rep so just going back to the UK for a week to visit. Staying out here for a while I think, enjoying it

Having said that, if anyone reading this knows of any remote jobs going… give us a shout.

Think I’m about to book up a snowboarding holiday in DAVOS… to end just as the world economic forum is starting.

Not sure if this is a great or terrible idea.

Got 2 weeks off in late November, want to go somewhere hot and far away which is conducive to a solo backpacking sort of trip. Indonesia would be great but it’s wet season then. Was thinking Burma initially but now a bit unsure of the ethics of that one… otherwise maybe Laos/Northern Thailand.

Ideas or ethical advice welcomed.

Go the other direction and travel around Central America? Hurricane season should have petered out by then (post/username interface etc…).

Haha, good idea but I did that earlier this year! I had 3 months off between jobs and did Guatemala down to Colombia. (You’d think that would satisfy my travel itch for a while, but… nah)

That’s a lot of holidays!

I’m going to Amsterdam next month to do the marathon. And that’s it.

Berlin 22nd - 25th October for my birthday :smiley::+1:

I’m going to Berlin, too (but not for your birthday).

You can make it about my birthday if u like

4 days in San Sebastián beginning of October
2 days in Lyon beginning of November, then straight to Berlin for a stag do I could do without

Piedmont in November and Amsterdam in December, both for just the weekend because I have no annual leave left. Barcelona next year for Primavera, maybe a bit more of nearby Spain while we’re there.

Was just looking at a Costa Rica tour - rainforests, volcanoes and all that. Really quite cheap as well. It’s in August though and comes back literally a couple of days before the holiday we’ve already booked.

Seems far too extravagant to get home from Costa Rica on Tuesday morning, do a bit of washing, repack the bags and go to Aruba on Thursday… Very, very tempted though

Wow, so many holidays!! I have nothing planned in the near future

Better get my thinking/travel cap on!

Timmy mallet and around the world in 80 seconds just popped into my head -

Fuck it. Booked it, like.

Got a couple of days in Nicaragua in there too. If it wasn’t for the fact I feel like I’m being cheated out of a few hundred quids worth of air fares, I’d probably just book a couple of nights in a hotel and sort a flight straight from Costa Rica to Aruba…
