The difference between the two may be confusing for foreigners. “ Onsen ” means a hot spring. At an “ onsen ” spot, a hot water is always taken from a natural hot spring. Most of “ sento ”, on the other hand, use tap water heated by boilers.
A life dream is to spend a night in a ryokan with a private onsen (because I can’t change in front of my own sister let alone nakedly bathe in public)
I’m a big fan of it
What’s the difference between a stoat and a weasel?
A weasel is weasely recognised, while a stoat is stoatally different.
Did a private onsen with t’mrs in Hakone last month. Was the absolute fucking best.
loads of the hotels had a sento, also <3
You can’t wash your hands in a buffalo
We did this too. It looked out over the forest valley. magical.
minutes after we left the onsen, it was pretty much the exact moment i got proper sadness at having to come back home
